Visit Qatar, in collaboration with Huawei, has announced the official launch of Visit Qatar_HarmonyOS Atomic, an innovative technology solution designed to provide a seamless and premium travel experience for Chinese visitors. This state-of-the-art service offers instant access to a wide range of smart and dedicated travel gadgets, ensuring a rich and seamless journey from planning to exploration. This service allows Chinese visitors to discover and immerse themselves in Qatar's vibrant cultural experiences more easily.
As globalization continues to reshape travel trends, Qatar has emerged as a leading tourist destination in the Middle East, attracting many Chinese tourists thanks to its modern arts, culture and landmarks. To keep pace with this growing demand, Visit Qatar and Huawei signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in May 2024. The partnership leverages a range of innovative products and services, such as Petal Ads, HUAWEI AppGallery, Skytone, HUAWEI Wallet, Petal Maps and Celia, to enhance the travel experience for Chinese tourists and establish a comprehensive and integrated tourism ecosystem.
The launch of Visit Qatar_HarmonyOS Atomic Service marks a significant milestone in this collaboration and reflects Visit Qatar's commitment to supporting the development of the tourism sector using innovative technology. In partnership with Huawei, Qatar is poised to redefine the travel experience and establish itself as a destination of choice for Chinese visitors.
HarmonyOS Atomic Meta services are efficient, easy to use, smooth integration between different devices, and open ecosystem. Users can access these services via multiple entry points, such as the quick access screen to the left of the home screen, smart search, and Celia, without having to open third-party apps or download additional apps.
For example, when tourists approach a particular tourist attraction or street in Qatar, these services can learn about the geographical location and provide instant guided services, and visitors can simply click on the notification card on the home screen to go to the e-Maps guide page, where they can access multiple features such as a landmark guide, nearby dining options, mobility, accommodation, and audio guide.
Moreover, the seamless integration experience between devices allows you to log in with HUAWEI ID on multiple devices, whether it is a smartphone, tablet or smart display. This ensures synchronization between personal data, enabling efficient and seamless service continuity.
With this tool, Visit Qatar is taking a new step towards delivering high-quality, technology-driven tourism experiences, reinforcing its commitment to welcoming Chinese tourists through innovative services tailored to their needs.
